HERBERTSVILLE FIRST AID

  CADET PROGRAM 

Herbertsville First Aid Squad cadet’s are from the age sixteen (16) to eighteen (18). In order to become a member of the squad they must have a valid Basic Life Support Professional Rescuer or Healthcare Provider CPR card and an advance or standard basic first aid card. However the squad will assist them in obtaining the necessary training.  As a Cadet they must have written permission from a parent or guardian on the application form they sign. Once voted onto the squad they will be assigned to a duty crew and will assist the crew while on calls. The cadets will be under the guidance of (2) two Active Riding Members, who will act as advisors for all cadets and issues pertaining thereto. While being a member of the squad they will be able to attend the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) class at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
